HOLLISWOOD, NEW YORK - March 5, 2009- The March of Dimes, Nelson Rosenthal Convocation review committee selected the essay of YUHSG ninth grader Bracha Lamm entitled "Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis : Novel Scientific Advances with Novel Societal Responsibilities' for the 1st place winner of Level 2 (9-10 grade). The essay answered the question in a comprehensive and well thought out format.

On March 11, 2009, at the Nelson Rosenthal Convocation at the New York University, Bracha will be given the award of $400 and the school will recieve a banner to acknowledge the award winning work.
